Niagara Falls

Me and my sisters

This was at Niagra Falls, which was breath taking!!!
The next few pictures are from the museum of play in Rochester

Some fun photos

There was a HUGE museum of play in Rochester and if it didn't have to close, I think we would have stayed for hours and hours and hours. It was amazing
While I was shopping at Old Navy, Isabel made some new friends.

Here in Pocatello, there is a new store called Paisley's punch and it's a boutique and salon for kids. Isable loved getting her nails done.
My sister in law and sister came with us. It was so fun

Summer Fun

I LOVE SUMMER!!! Summer is my favorite time of year. I love being outside when it's warm and I love all the flowers and the greenery. There is nothing better than taking a blanket out back and eating Popsicles with my kids. Isabel and Joshua are both old enough to take to the pool and play. They both love being in the water. We just got back from New York and we had so much fun, minus the flight. Really I can't complain because the flight could have been worse, it is just difficult to travel with such young kids. We got to go to the Hill Cumorah, Joseph's house, the Sacred Grove and Niagra Falls. It was a lot of fun, but after 10 days, we were all ready to be home. I take my nursing state board test on the 27th and I really hope it goes well. I'm ready to really be done with this. I have really enjoyed just being home with my kids and have been enjoying watching them learn and grow. They are two amazing and smart kids. They are two totally different kids but are best buds and love playing together. Anyhow I couldn't ask for a better family or a happier time in my life. I look forward to what the future has in store.

It's been a while.

It has been a long time since I've posted, so this one might be a bit long. Life has been blissfully busy. I finally graduated the nursing program from ISU, Joshua turned 1, Nick has been crazy busy with work and I ran my first marathon. It is such a relief to be finished with school and I thought I was going to have all this free time, but I was wrong. I now consume my time being a Mom and a wife since these areas have been kind of neglected for the past 2 years. I look forward to entering the workforce of nurses. I haven't found a job yet, but I'm hoping something will open up at the hospital so I can work 1-3 times a month. Nick has been crazy busy with work and is putting in long hours just trying to keep on top of things. Joshua turned 1 (holy cow I can't believe he's one already!!!) and we had a little party with family. He thoroughly enjoyed his cake, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching. I just ran my first marathon. It was the Ogden marathon and it was long, but amazing. I still can't believe I did it. I'm really glad it's over because now I can run and bike because I want, not because I have to. Now we are getting ready for a trip out to New York in June to see my parents. Life is great, and I will try to keep my blog updated a bit more regularly.

Time to catch up

So I haven't updated my blog for a while so I figured I would take a few minutes and do it. School has started and I am super busy with that but one more semester and I'm done!!! Isabel had her third birthday and we had so much fun at her party. She thought she was pretty special for the day. we then got to spend some time in the hospital with Joshua for RSV and pneumonia. NOT FUN!!!!! We are all healthy for now (knock on wood) and we are ALL trying to survive this semester. Spring can't get here soon enough for so many reasons, and it will be such a happy time when it's warm outside. Anyhow, I'm posting a bunch of pictures of random things that have been going on. Oh, and by the way Natasha, your page is so cute!!! I'm glad your getting into this because it really is a lot of fun when you get into. ENJOY!!

Oh Isabel!!

So here is a funny little story about my sweet little girl Isabel.
We were all downstairs and I had just finished getting the kids into their pajamas and headed up stairs to put them to bed. I put Joshua down and then came to my bed to red Isabel her night time book "Llama Llama, red pajama." We read the book and I took her to bed, covered her, kissed her goodnight and walked out. Well Nick and I were still wanting to sit downstairs and watch TV. So I thought I would turn our TV on in our bedroom to make Isabel think we were upstairs in bed. I was downstairs for about 10 minutes and we heard Isabel coming down the stairs. She came around the corner and saw us sitting there and with a sigh, and a very concerned look on her face she looked at me and said " Mom, you tricked me. You weren't even in your bed." Nick and I had a good laugh and then I felt guilty. So we shut the TV off and all went to bed and she came to make sure I was really in bed a couple of times. She's now finally asleep. It's moments like this I realize how smart she really is. Man I love her. I can't believe she's going to be 3 in a week. WOW!!!
