It's been three weeks since Olivia was born. Days have been busy doing things with my older two kids and my nights are consumed with feeding Olivia every 3-4 hours. It's amazes me how moms with new babies can function with such little sleep. After being on bedrest for 10 weeks, I happily take on the chores of being a mom. Olivia is growing like a weed and weighs about 6 pounds. Isabel absolutely adores her baby sister and wants to help do everything. Joshua loves his little sister but quickly loses interest. We just love the sweet little spirit she brings to our family. She is such a good baby. She rarely cries and when she does, it's more of a squeak or a grunt. Lets just hope she continues to be such an easy going child.

JOY IN THE JOURNEY!!!!
So here I am at 32 weeks. Things have been challenging lately but I also find myself being stronger. With contractions becoming more regular and stronger, everyday is a blessing that I can still be pregnant. I pray that we can make it to at least 35weeks. With a lot of laying in bed and an amazing husband that takes care of my house and kids, I think me and Olivia have a chance. I couldn't ask for better family and friends!!! I have found that I have to find joy in this journey even if it's been a unpleasant one.
Some of the things I find joy in:
* Being able to watch my kids play together without thinking I have to go finish the laundry or cook dinner
* Having my kids play on my bed while I can lay down and watch their imaginations take off
* Having my husband doing EVERYTHING!! (Really, how often do we get a chance like that?) From cooking to cleaning to running awful errands such as grocery shopping.
* Hearing my 4 year old daughter say "Mom lay down and put your feet up please."
* Being able to really be in tune with my baby
* Finding reassurance as I lay here and feel my baby kick me a thousand time a day (which are getting MUCH stronger, thank goodness)
* The money I've saved since I haven't been able to go shopping for so long
* Laying in my bed as I listen to my kids play in their rooms as I wonder what they are going to dressed up as next time they come out of their rooms.
* Listening to the kids playing and not having any worries about what toys they are getting out because my amazing husband will clean it up
So now that the end is actually in sight, I can almost say it hasn't been too bad! Okay maybe not but I can for sure say it could be worse. Day by day, week by week : )

My sweet Isabel is 4 years old!!!
My little Isabel is 4 years old today. 4 years ago my life changed for ever, and I never could have imagined how wonderful life was about to get. Isabel has always been a very smart girl and continues to grow by leap and bounds.
Some of her favorite things include:
* Dressing up, especially as a princess
* Helping mommy cook
* Playing outside no matter the temperature
* Giving and receiving surprises (no matter what it is, she will act surprised)
* Anything pink with sparkles
* Spending time with her grandparents
* Playing with her friends
* Going to the babysitter's
* Happy meals with chicken nuggets, fries, sprite and sweet and sour sauce
* Watching movies with mommy on her bed while eating popcorn, of course
* Taking care of her baby dolls
* Going to church
* Sing songs
* Getting ready for her new baby sister to be born
* Noodles and sunny delight
* Taking care of people
Isabel is such a sweet, loving and caring little girl. I love playing with her and experiencing her imagination running wild. She is so willing to help me with anything and I know she is going to be such a big helper when her little sister is born. She likes to help Joshua with daily tasks such as getting ready and eating. There is nothing sweeter than Isabel and Joshua playing together like they were long lost pals.
I love you Bug and no matter how old you get, you will always be my sweet little Isabel.

Sweet Isabel, I love the simple way you think!
Tonight as I was getting Isabel into bed, she got on her knees to say prayers. She told me we needed to ask Jesus to give us good dreams. I agreed and mentioned that was a good thing to ask for. She proceeded to tell me that a few days ago Jesus must have run out of good dreams and had to give her a bad dream because he didn't have anymore good dreams. I told her He has plenty of good dreams if we just remember to ask. She continued on with the prayer:
"Heavenly Father, please bless Mommy and Daddy to have good dreams, and please bless me, Isabel, to have good dreams, and please bless my brother, Joshua to have good dreams. Thanks Heavenly Father, I love you. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen."
Ok Mom, you should sleep good, I asked Jesus to give you good dreams too.
I love my sweet Isabel!

Randoms of lately
Joshua just hanging out with Daddy on Thanksgiving. He is such a Daddy's boy!
Here I am at 24 weeks. It sounds a lot better to say 6 months instead of 24 weeks. Really, either way I feel like I've got a ways to go. Can't complain though, it could be worse.
Just excited for Olivia to get here.
Princess Tea Party!!
What a blast we had.
Already looking forward to next year.
I wish she would never grow out of this stage.
I want her to always be into dressing up and princesses!!
Sure love my sweet little Isabel!
Can't believe she's almost four!!!!
